Book an Appointment

Why we book times.

The office runs on appointments rather than drop-ins, and the reason is practical: documents are filed in person in Tallahassee, so on filing days there is genuinely nobody at the counter. A reserved time means the trip is never wasted — and it means somebody has already looked at what you are bringing before you set off.

We are at 6750 N Andrews Ave, Ste 288E, on North Andrews Avenue in the Cypress Creek business corridor, minutes from I-95 at Commercial Boulevard and Oakland Park Boulevard, with free parking on site. No waiting room, no line — a scheduled slot where our full attention is on your documents.

Hours are Monday–Friday 9 AM–6 PM and Saturday 12 PM–5 PM, closed Sunday. Booking is a two-minute phone call to (754) 354-7979, and we confirm every request within one business hour. Bring the document and photo identification; if it still needs notarizing, bring it unsigned, because a notary has to witness the signature. Most appointments run under fifteen minutes.

Appointments

What to bring.

The Certified Original

A certified copy with the issuing official’s seal. Hospital keepsakes, photocopies and laminated documents cannot be apostilled.

Photo Identification

Required if anything needs notarizing. A driver’s license, passport or state ID, unexpired. Foreign passports are accepted.

Unsigned Documents

If it needs a notary, do not sign it beforehand. The notary has to witness the signature for the act to be valid.

The Destination Country

Tell us where it’s going. Requirements differ sharply, and non-Hague countries need a different route entirely.

Any Consulate Instructions

If the receiving authority sent you a checklist, bring it. It settles questions faster than guesswork.

Nothing Else

No forms to complete in advance. We fill in the Department of State request form with you at your appointment.

Directions

Getting here.

We are at 6750 N Andrews Ave, Ste 288E, on North Andrews Avenue in the Cypress Creek business corridor of Fort Lauderdale. From I-95, exit at Commercial Boulevard or Oakland Park Boulevard and head west to Andrews; from Federal Highway, cut across on Commercial or Cypress Creek Road. Parking is free and on site, so there is no garage to find and no meter to feed.

The location puts us within a short drive of most of the county’s northern and central cities — Wilton Manors and Oakland Park are about five minutes out, Pompano Beach around ten, and Lauderhill, Tamarac, and Coconut Creek roughly fifteen. Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach, Sunrise, and Plantation run about twenty minutes.

Appointments run about ten to fifteen minutes for a straightforward handoff, longer if documents need to be notarized or if you want to talk through destination-country requirements. Either way you leave with a receipt and a firm return date, and we call the moment your apostilled originals are back.

Every document is filed in person at the Florida Department of State rather than mailed, which is what holds the return to 5 business days. Spanish-language service is available throughout — call and ask, or start from our páginas en español.
